The £3.8M refurbishment and conservation of the Grade A Listed Building, Provost Skene’s House in Aberdeen, has brought a unique and historically important building back into community use as a new museum within a city centre public landscape setting.

The work has been completed to an exacting standard and includes a complete re-roofing, re-pointing of walls, window & door repairs, internal alterations and refurbishment, including restoration of unique painted ceiling and wall panels, and a complete services re-fit.
The new museum exhibition celebrates the contribution of local people to world culture.
Sitting within the landscaped setting of the recently completed Marischal Square, Provost Skene’s House completes and enhances the public open space within the Square, contributing richly to a vibrant city centre.
