Halliday Fraser Munro developed a pioneering design for the new Aberdeen IKEA store, the first of its kind in Scotland and a new format outlet for IKEA.
The project involved subdividing an existing 100,000sqft retail unit into three smaller units, with each new unit identified by a large glazed entrance. Parking improvements were also undertaken, all while one unit continued trading within the building.
