Ballater’s Old Royal Station was destroyed by fire in 2015. The B-listed building was historically used by the Royal Family travelling to nearby Balmoral Castle and was a popular tourist attraction.
Halliday Fraser Munro has led the restoration project with Aberdeenshire Council. The fully restored and extended building reopened in August 2018.
