Virtual Studio launches for students
18 Sep 2020
Covid-19 has affected a number of the things we take for granted, and that is no different here at Halliday Fraser Munro. Around this time each year we look forward to welcoming our work experience students and interns as we look to help the next generation of construction students find their feet in the industry. Sadly, for obvious reasons, that isn’t possible this year.
However, all at Halliday Fraser are passionate about the opportunities we provide for students and so we are delighted to announce the launch of Virtual Studio (https://virtualstudio.hfm.co.uk/) – a series of free live webinars and discussions to help the next generation of talent transition from the studio to the office.
This is an opportunity to meet (virtually), network with and learn from some of the best in the business and take your knowledge and experience to the next level.
Each session will be led by different members of our experienced team and will provide an opportunity for students to hear from industry experts and discuss the latest topics affecting our industry. Each Virtual Studio session will have a Q&A section so students can pick the brains of our panelists.
The first three sessions announced are:
23rd September, 13:00 - Design Journey Through Planning
7th October, 13:00 - Transition from Studio to Office
21st October, 13:00 - Developing the Brief
Registration for these sessions is completely free and now open, you can book your place here: https://virtualstudio.hfm.co.uk/.
More sessions will be added in due course so please follow us on LinkedIn, Twitter or Instagram to find out more information.
Our sessions are designed for students studying, Architecture, Architectural Technology, Planning and other Construction related courses at any university or college in the UK.
Registration is based on a first come, first served basis so please register early.
We look forward to meeting you.
