Halliday Fraser Munro has submitted a detailed planning application for a mixed use development in Leith, Edinburgh on behalf of Drum Property Group.  The development will provide purpose built student accomodation and  a hotel for the University of Edinburgh as well as flats in conjunction with Places for People.

Being a short drive from the University of Edinburgh with regular transport links, Steads Place at Leith Walk is ideally located for this mixed use development which as well as student accommodation, a hotel and affordable flats, will also provide a generous multi-use zone incorporating study space, and a restaurant open to the general public.

With a vision to give a dramatically positive impact to the Leith Walk community as well as the wider local area, it is hoped that the development will provide a sought after boost to Edinburgh.
